How to pin Contacts, Projects, and Tasks for quick access while logging time.
Access Pinning Options
Pinning options are available on the Contacts, Projects, and Tasks screens.
Navigate to the relevant screen by clicking the heading in MinuteDock to view and access pinning options.
Pin Items for Easy Access
Pin frequently used Contacts, Projects, and Tasks to display them at the top of their respective screens and in the time logging interface.
Pin options
Pin for me: Click the pin icon next to any item to pin it for yourself only.
Pin for everyone: Hover over the pin icon and select "Pin for everyone" from the dropdown to make the item visible to all Users on your Account.
Pin for some users: Hover over the pin icon and select "Pin for some" from the dropdown to choose specific Users who should see the pinned item.
ℹ️ Note: You can choose either "everyone" or "some users," but not both at the same time.
Where pinned items appear
Pinned Contacts appear at the top of the Contacts screen and in the Contact selection when logging time.
Pinned Projects appear at the top of the Projects screen and in the Project selection when logging time.
Pinned Tasks appear at the top of the Tasks screen and in the Task selection when logging time.
💡Tip: Pin the Contacts, Projects, and Tasks you use most frequently to save time when logging entries and navigating your workspace.
Manage Pinned Items
To unpin an item, click the pin icon again (for items pinned to yourself) or use the dropdown to remove pins for everyone or specific users.
Pinned items automatically appear for the selected users across all relevant screens in MinuteDock.
