MinuteDock offers two ways to secure your login: Login Verification requires an emailed code when you sign in with your password, while passkeys let you sign in without entering a password.
Each User manages their own sign-in security from Profile → Password & Security.
Login Verification
Login Verification is MinuteDock's email-based two-factor authentication. When you start a new login with your password, MinuteDock sends a verification code to the email address on your Profile. Enter that code to finish signing in.
If you remain signed in on that browser, you won't need another code until you log out or need to sign in again.
Turn on Login Verification
Sign in to MinuteDock and click Profile at the top right.
Select Password & Security.
Find the Login Verification section.
Click Start verification.
Follow the prompts to confirm your email and enable Login Verification.
Once Login Verification is enabled, each new password login requires a code sent to your registered email address.
If the verification email doesn't arrive
Check your spam folder and make sure you're checking the email address registered on your MinuteDock Profile.
If you can't access your registered email or still can't receive the verification message, contact team@minutedock.com.
Passkeys
A passkey lets you sign in without entering your MinuteDock password. Depending on the option you choose, you can approve the login using a fingerprint, face scan, device PIN, security key, or password manager.
The passkey is linked to your MinuteDock login and stored by the device, security key, or password manager you select.
Add a passkey
Sign in to MinuteDock and click Profile at the top right.
Select Password & Security.
Under Passkeys, click Add a passkey.
Follow the prompt from your device, security key, or password manager.
Your new passkey appears in the Passkeys section. Give each passkey a recognisable name so you can identify it later.
Rename a passkey
Go to Profile → Password & Security.
Find the passkey you want to rename.
Click the edit icon beside its current name.
Enter the new name and save it.
Revoke a passkey
Revoke a passkey if you no longer use it or no longer trust the device, security key, or password manager holding it.
Go to Profile → Password & Security.
Find the passkey you want to remove.
Click Revoke.
That passkey can no longer be used to sign in to MinuteDock.
Recover access to your login
If you've forgotten your password, use Forgot your password? on the MinuteDock login screen and follow the instructions sent to your registered email address.
If you no longer have access to a passkey, sign in using another available passkey or your password. Once signed in, open Profile → Password & Security and revoke the passkey you can no longer access.
For the complete password-reset steps, see Change your login email or password.
If none of your sign-in methods are available, contact team@minutedock.com from your registered login email.
