Cancel Your Wave Connection

Follow this guide to safely cancel your integration connection with Wave.

Updated over a week ago

You can safely disconnect your Wave integration at any time while preserving all your data.

Disconnecting from Wave

Before You Disconnect

Important: Disconnecting will stop automatic customer sync and prevent sending new invoices to Wave. Consider the following impacts:

  • Customer sync stops - Wave customers will no longer sync to MinuteDock

  • Invoicing disabled - You won't be able to send new invoices to Wave

  • Existing data preserved - All your Time Entries, Contacts, and historical data remain intact

  • Reconnection possible - You can reconnect at any time to restore functionality

Disconnection Process

  1. Access integration settings - Click the Wave link at the top of MinuteDock

  2. Disconnect - Click the Cancel Wave Connection button

  3. Confirm disconnection - Follow any confirmation prompts

Success! Your Wave integration is now disconnected. MinuteDock will no longer sync with Wave or send invoices.

After Disconnecting

What remains the same:

  • All your Time Entries and historical data

  • Contact information (though they'll no longer sync with Wave)

  • All previously sent invoices remain in Wave

What changes:

  • No automatic customer sync from Wave

  • Cannot send new invoices to Wave

  • Wave-specific settings become inactive

💡 Tip: You can reconnect to Wave at any time by going through the initial setup process again. Your Wave integration settings will need to be reconfigured after reconnection.
