MinuteDock's Commitment to Data Privacy

At MinuteDock, we take your data privacy seriously. Here's how we handle your information:

  • We don't sell your data. We never have and never will sell your data to third parties.

  • Secure hosting. Our data is securely hosted by Amazon Web Services in the United States.

  • Third-party services. We share data with some third-party services necessary for our day-to-day operations (such as our customer support software), but only as needed to provide our service to you.

  • You control your data. You decide what data you store in MinuteDock and can request deletion at any time.

GDPR Compliance for European Users

The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) protects European citizens' data rights. MinuteDock is fully compliant with GDPR requirements.

Your Rights Under GDPR

As a European citizen, you have specific rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

  • Right to deletion: You can request that we delete your personal data

  • Right to data portability: You can request your data in a portable format

To submit a GDPR-related request, contact us at team@minutedock.com. We'll respond to your request promptly.

How MinuteDock Complies with GDPR

We comply with GDPR by:

  • Honoring deletion requests. We'll purge your personal data from our systems at your request.

  • Data processing agreements. We have appropriate agreements in place with third-party services we use.

  • Transparency. We're open about what data we collect and how we use it.

Please note that certain personal data is required to operate our service and cannot be removed while you maintain an active MinuteDock subscription. For example, we need your email address to provide you with access to your Account. Once you cancel your subscription, we can delete all personal data upon request.

Your Responsibility for Customer Data

MinuteDock only stores data that you input into the application. This includes information about your clients, projects, and time tracking.

You are responsible for complying with GDPR requests from your own clients. If one of your clients submits a GDPR request to you, you'll need to remove their relevant data from MinuteDock using the deletion functions within the application.

For example, if a client requests deletion of their personal data, you should:

  1. Delete or anonymize relevant Contacts in MinuteDock

  2. Remove or edit Time Entries that contain their personal information

  3. Delete any Invoices or other records containing their data

Data Security & Hosting

Where your data is stored: Our data is securely hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. AWS maintains industry-leading security standards and infrastructure.

Security measures: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
