It's Sunday here in New Zealand, and we thought we'd put out a little improvement over the weekend. We've been talking with customers who have quite a few projects, and one of the common frustrations was that in order to run a report, you'd always have to filter through all of the projects, regardless of what contact(s) you'd already selected.
Well, not anymore! Now the project filter on reports will hide projects that don't match any of the contacts you've already selected. While this doesn't affect the way reports are run behind the scenes at all, it does improve the usability of building them up, particularly for teams who make heavy use of projects.

We've released an update to Goals: You can now add "Company" goals visibile by the whole team, and admins can now add and assign Goals to a specific employee!
This has been one of our most requested features, so it's great to finally get that out!
When we first released support for QuickBooks in 2012, we initially only provided the ability to send Invoices. But we quickly learned that a lot of people needed to send over Time Activities too, so we rushed around and added that support at a basic level.
Today we’re announcing the next phase of that support - a big overhaul of the way MinuteDock “sends time” into QuickBooks (which is also a first step along the way to support for sending time into other systems too). Keep reading for an overview of the improvements.
Today we pushed a little feature that has been requested a lot: the ability to specify whether Goals should include billable/unbillable time!
This will save users of Goals (one of our most loved features) a bunch of time if they are trying to track, for example, a goal for a certain number of billable hours in a week or month. Previously, you had to select the specific contacts/projects/tasks that you knew would be billable/unbillable and update the goal whenever that changed. Now, it's as easy as one option!
MinuteDock was recently featured in Accounting Today, a popular publication for Accountants recommending us as the best option for tracking time with Xero - awesome! A ton of accountants are both using MinuteDock and recommending it to their clients, so it's excited to be recognized as a leader in that space!

MinuteDock initially started out as exclusively a Xero addon, back when Xero had only a few thousand customers.
